Tyler County, WV
In order to access, develop, and drill sites in rural areas it is sometimes necessary to upgrade secondary roads and install measures to prevent future slides. That was the case on the Triad Hunter Project in Tyler County.
A roadway began to slip and ORDERS Construction was contracted to widen and stabilize the road prior to the start of a drilling program. This was accomplished by installing a drilled and grouted pile and lagging wall with a 10' rock socket along the lower side of the road. This solution stabilized the slide and allowed for a much wider roadway to accommodate the larger drilling and construction equipment that was needed on site.
