Kanawha County, WV
Slip repair and stabilization projects are common issues that plague highway departments. Often quick responses are required to maintain traffic and address safety concerns for the driving public. This project in Montgomery, WV was such a project. ORDERS Construction mobilized and began the stabilization project by removing vegetation and loose overburden material. We then drilled and shot the slope and finished the shaping with excavators and rock hammers. Finally, we repaired damage to the surface of the roadway and reopened the road to the public.
